ControllerLHH is conducting a search for a hands-on Controller. The role is with a large transportation company whose HQ is based out of Philly. This is a great opportunity to join a tremendously stable company with significant longevity. This is a direct hire, hybrid role in center city Philly. The role will be 3x per week on site, 2x remote.They need someone who can jump in and lead their close-knit finance team. This is a "roll up your sleeves" type of position that offers a stable, team oriented atmosphere. Position reports to the CFO.A Day in the LifeThis position will be responsible for oversight of a team of 15 on the accounting and finance team. You have strong experience in Transportation, Architecture, Engineering, Development industries, including hands on month end functions.You will be responsible for oversight of: All General Accounting (reporting, audit) Accounts Payable teamAccounts Receivable teamFixed assets, Revenue accountingGeneral accounting monthly close functions, and preparing board level financial statements and presentations. Integrity, excellent organizational skills, and communication skills are just some of the core focuses of the role.
