Specialty: Emergency Medicine (EM)Work Setting: Emergency DepartmentSeeking an experienced PA or NP to join Oregon Emergency Physicians (OEP), a democratic EM group dedicated to caring for patients at Providence Portland Medical Center, a large urban tertiary care hospital in Portland, Oregon. Enjoy outstanding quality of life in the scenic beauty of the Pacific Northwest!This is a full-time position for morningswingevening mid-shifts, 12-13 shiftsmonth with opportunities for additional dependently managing moderate and low acuity patients with immediate side-by-side physician support available in a well-staffed, large ED (>50 beds).Competitive salary and benefits, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, CME, sick and vacation hours.PA candidates are required to have at least a master's degree from a training program accredited by the ARC-PA (Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant) and have a current PA-C designation having passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE). Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in emergency medicine settings or have completed an emergency medicine residency accredited by the Association of Post Graduate PA Programs (APPAP).* NP candidates are required to have at least a master's degree from an accredited institution and have an FNP andor Adult Acute Care NP certificationlicensure.
