Easton Animal Hospital is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our modern General Practice that has a hometown feel.We are looking for collaborative and driven people to join our team. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, a great patient experience, and a wonderful place to work.Job Duties include:Assist the veterinarian in exam rooms and use veterinary software for documenting medical notesPerform venipuncture for phlebotomy and catheter placementObtain laboratory sample collection, process and possibly interpret results (fecalparasite analysis, ear cytology, skin cytology, urinalysis, blood smears)Perform diagnostic imagingPerform anesthesiaPrep patients for and assist in surgeryPerform dental prophiesAdminister vaccines and medications (oral, topical, injectable)Fill prescriptions and review directions with clientsCommunicate with and educate clientsProvide compassionate patient careYour qualifications:State Registered Veterinary Technician license requiredMinimum 3 years Veterinary experience, including Assistant and Kennel experienceGood written and verbal communication skillsJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingEmployee discountHealth insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceHealthcare setting:ClinicSchedule:10 hour shift12 hour shift8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayWeekends as needed
