A growing heavy industrial manufacturing company is seeking a Safety Coordinator to to be based out of a facility in New Miami, OH. The Safety Coordinator will be tasked with ensuring safe working conditions for all team members at the a small campus, with small regional responsibilities and should possess an ability to communicate with employees at all levels with the goal of developing a positive safety culture.The Role:Lead local Health and Safety processes including behavior based safety, risk assessments and mitigation, and ergonomicsMeasure, evaluate, and recommend changes on the effectiveness of hazard management systems, policies and procedures to eliminate workplace injuriesAssist in site health and safety investigations to ensure proper corrective and preventative measures have been implementedDevelop and perform trainingAbility to travel up to 25%The Candidate:2+ years' professional EHS working experience in manufacturing environmentsBachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related disciplineAbility to create and execute Safety training programsExcellent communication and problem solving skillsProactive with an ability to facilitate change through training and established working relationships with employees
