The Director of Legal Recruiting is responsible for spearheading the development, execution, and management of the firm's comprehensive legal recruiting initiatives. This encompasses seamless coordination of Lateral Partner, Associate, and Summer Associate recruiting programs. The role extends to managing attorney-focused recruiting campaigns, and nurturing relationships with law schools, legal associations, recruitment agencies, and other third-party service providers.About YouSelf-starter: You anticipate what is needed, take initiative and make things happen.Systematic: You prioritize. You are able to work independently and part of a team.Curious: You invigorate others with your smarts, curiosity and sensitivity to context.What You'll DoCollaborate with key internal stakeholders to develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top legal talent including Partners, Associates and Summer Associates in alignment with firm goals.Build and maintain strong relationships with law schools, legal organizations, and other sources of legal talent to ensure a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates.Collaborate with Practice Leaders and Partners to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions and candidate profiles.Lead the full recruitment cycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and negotiating offers.Utilize creative sourcing techniques, including social media, networking events, and job fairs, to identify and engage passive candidates.Stay current on industry trends and best practices in legal recruitment and incorporate them into firm recruitment processes.Provide guidance and support to Practice Leaders and Partners on interviewing techniques, selection decisions and offer negotiations.Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of firm recruitment efforts and identify areas for improvement.Cultivate and manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors as needed.RequirementsBachelor's DegreeMinimum of 5 years of experience in legal recruitment, preferably in a law firm or legal department setting.Proven track record of success in recruiting and hiring legal professionals at all levels.Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute recruitment strategies that align with firm goals.Flexibility to travel as pensationThe anticipated base salary for this position is $220,000 - $260,000, depending upon experience and other relevant factors. This position is bonus eligible.
