Job Description:

Capital Advisors Group, Inc. (an independent institutional investment advisor specializing in short-term, fixed-income investment management is seeking an Operations Manager.The Operations Manager will be the lead operations and accounting contact for a group of client relationships, working with clients to customize and understand their investment accounting statements. The Operations Manager will communicate regularly via email, phone, and video conferencing with the accounting and treasury teams at Capital Advisors Group's life science, medical device, technology, and other emerging-growth clients. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Assisting with the establishment of bank custody accounts; Setting up client accounts in Clearwater Analytics and providing clients with online access to Clearwater Analytics;Helping clients to customize accounting statements and reviewing accounting statements with clients;Assisting clients with wire transfer requests;Resolving reconciliation issues between custodial banks and Clearwater Analytics;Providing clients and their auditors with audit support;Assisting in the calculation of investment performance; and Performing other duties as assigned.The role provides the opportunity to collaborate with a seasoned team of investment professionals in a highly dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. The optimal candidate will employ a consultative approach to client relationships and have a strong interest in the financial markets, accounting, and financial reporting.
