Our mission each day is to provide life-enhancing and restorative care to our patients with the warmth and expertise that is rarely found in today's medical industry.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Certified Medical Assistant. The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for:· Assisting the Physician andor Nurse with treatments and procedures· Giving pre-op and post-op instructions· Maintaining a sterile work environment for the Physician· Expect to assist - Vein procedures, Excisions, Suture removal (micro), Wound care· Being mindful of the patients' safety during procedures· Managing patient visits· Taking vitals and medical history and chief complaint· Note taking during the Practitioner's exam of the patient· Inventory, ordering and restocking supplies· Maintaining a clean and organized work environment· Maintaining patient records in Electronic Medical Records systems· Medical terminology· Preparing lab specimens· Cleaning of surgical instruments; Autoclave maintenance· Employing proper sterile technique QualificationsCMA, Certified Medical AssistantRMA, Registered Medical AssistantAHA, American Heart Association: BLS (Basic Life Support)(we will provide)HIPAA Privacy Regulations Training Certificate (we will provide)Medical Assisting and Medical Terminology skillsExperience in a medical office settingStrong patient care skillsKnowledge of medical records managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPositive mental attitudeAbility to work well in a teamCertification as a Medical AssistantFamiliarity with vascular medicine is a plusDedicated to high-quality patient care and efficiencyJob BenefitsHealth InsuranceRetirement 401K programPaid Time Off
