Envision Imaging seeks a Full Time XRAY Technologist at our Mansfield, TX location.Opportunity to join our team as an XRAY tech with cross-training to obtain bone densityMonday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm | $2,000 sign on bonus available to eligible hire. | Position Pay Range $24.45 - $31.51 SummaryObjective:Performs various types of diagnostic X-Ray procedures, adjusts equipment settings, determines proper voltage and exposure and positions patient. Performs specific procedures utilizing ionizing radiation. Assists physicians in assigned examination utilizing contrast media andor specific tomographic examinations.Essential Functions1. Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure andor exam to obtain the best possible image.2. Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information andor consent. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc.3. Obtains prior filmsexams as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation.4. Performs exams while attending to patient's care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient's condition changes at any time.5. Transfers images to other locations as needed.6. Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist.7. Maintains and regularly inspects equipment and immediately reports any quality concerns as well as equipment failures or deficiencies.8. Interfaces with Lead Technologist & CenterArea Manager regarding any and all departmental concerns.9.
