Job Description:

Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital, a part of the New Jersey Department of Health and Division Behavioral Health Services, seeks a Clinical Psychiatrist Post Certified to carry out clinical responsibilities in accord with the standard of care and unified service systems; perform psychiatric functions in accord with legaljudicial mandates and Patient's Bill of Rights; implement technical applications to meet The Joint Commission (TJC) standards and other relevant accreditation bodies standards; do other related duties as required.REQUIREMENTSCERTIFICATION: Possession of current certification as a diplomate in the specialty of psychiatry issued by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of clinical experience in the practice of Psychiatry subsequent to Board Certification.NOTE: A sub-specialty board certification in Addictions, Geriatrics, or Forensics may be substituted for one (1) year of experience.NOTE: A sub-specialty board certification in Child or Adolescent may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.* We may sponsor J1 Visa for the right candidate.LICENSE: Possession of an Unrestricted License to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey; possession of an unrestricted State of New Jersey Controlled Dangerous Substances License; possession of an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA Registration number).LICENSE: Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.We offer a competitive benefit package that includes sick, personal, vacation and holiday leave along with managed care and dental insurance, prescription drug coverage, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, as well as a pension and retirement plan.
