Radiologic TechnologistInpatient settingBoston, MA 02128 (parking available)$65-75hr depending on experienceCovering a leave from 528-824Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 7a - 5p and Thursday 10am-11pmEssential Duties & Responsibilities:The X-ray tech would be covering a short term leave.The Radiologic Technologist is expected to produce high quality Radiographic images under the guidance of the Radiology Supervisor. These films shall be accomplished within the positioning guidelines of the department and following all accepted radiation safety procedures. The Radiologic Technologist will also take part in Quality Improvement and Quality Control activities.Performs Diagnostic Radiographic examination following department protocol and utilizing technical factors to ensure the highest quality result within guidelines.Produces copies of Radiographic images as needed, of film or CD.Demonstrates the ability to recognize age-related pathology and physical presentation when per- forming exams and choosing technical factors.Assist in Clerical duties including but not limited to patient data input, scheduling patients, updating as needed, preparing exams for reading and filling, as well as participate in maintaining tracking system.Must Have SkillsQualificationsGraduate of the AMA Approved Radiologic Technology training Program.Associates Degree is strongly desired.ARRT in State of Massachusetts registered in good standing, Radiography CPR Certified and ability to maintain on an annual basis.
