The vast extent of their expertise ensures the highest standards of professionalism and quality orthotic and prosthetic care for both pediatric and adult patients.Role DescriptionThese are full-time on-site roles for a Prosthetic Medical Office Intake specialist & Manager Trainee located in Houston, TX. The Intake specialist is the first point of contact for all care and a very important and personable position, as well as busy. The Prosthetic Medical Office Manager Trainee will be responsible for assisting in overseeing the daily operations of the clinic, managing patient care workflow, educating patients and insurance companies, and ensuring timely completion of necessary documentation. This position reports directly to the Admin Manager and Owner and works closely with the clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care.QualificationsProstheticOrthotic experience or knowledge preferred but not required. Not all requirements are for both positions.1-2 years of experience in billing in a medical clinic or hospital settingKnowledge of medical terminology, billing practices, and insuranceProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, EMR, and practice management softwareExcellent communication, organizational, and time management skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively with a team to achieve common goals.Must be willing to learn and grow professionally within the organization.
