Job Description:

You will:Independently manage and provide full-scope midwifery care in our outpatient clinic including comprehensive obstetric and gynecological servicesCollaborate with clinical colleagues (including OBGYNs; RNs; LCSWs, health coaches, lactation counselors, childbirth educators and other specialists)Provide day-to-day expertise and leadership on Labor & Delivery, including in-house clinical coverage Triage and care for emergent obstetric patients, working collaboratively with RNs and OBGYNsParticipate in quality improvement initiativesAttend skills training and drills for high acuitylow frequency eventsQualificationsExperience in managing intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage in a hospital setting (2 yrs experience preferred)Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative OBCNM practiceStrong communication skills and intrapersonal skillsValue patient preferenceschoice, shared decision making, and a holistic care approachNeonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (preferred, not required) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start dateActive certification with AMCB Current RN and APRN license in FLAdditional certifications in Obstetric Ultrasound, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, andor Lactation consultation are preferredBenefitsCompetitive compensationHealth; dental & vision, with an HSAFSA option401(k) with employer matchPaid time offPaid paternal leave Payment for professional liability coverage, license renewals, including DEA Professional development budgetLeadership training and advancement opportunities, if desired About HCA Florida Capital HospitalModern full-size hospitalLevel II NICU; 24x7 anesthesia coverageAbout the Tallahassee AreaTallahassee, the vibrant capital, is nestled in the Florida Panhandle, renowed for its rich history and natural beauty.
