On Target Executive Search : Legal ConsultantLocation: Horsham, PA Work Schedule: 4 hours per day, Tuesday to ThursdayHourly Rate: $66 per hourReports to: General CounselOn Target Executive Search is recruiting for our Client that is seeking a dynamic and experienced Legal Consultant with expertise in legal recruitment to join our team. As a Legal Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal department in various capacities, including but not limited to negotiating, drafting, and managing legal documents, assisting in the management of lawsuits and proceedings, implementing internal policies and procedures, and liaising with external counsels.Responsibilities:Negotiate and draft various legal documents, primarily contracts (e.g., trade, supply, corporate), Power of Attorney (PoA), Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Letters of Intent (LoI), and letters.Draft legal opinions and provide legal advice on a wide range of issues.Assist in the management of lawsuits and legal proceedings, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and preparing for hearings and trials.Implement internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Liaise with external counsels on various legal matters.Draft various corporate documents, including resolutions of the Board of Directors and certificates.Ensure contracts compliance and effectively manage document archives.Report directly to the company's General Counsel and collaborate closely with other members of the legal team.Requirements:Must be a licensed attorney with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Proven experience in negotiating and drafting various legal documents, particularly contracts.Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and other relevant legal areas.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Proficiency in legal research and writing.Prior experience in a corporate legal department or law firm preferred.Familiarity with Costco or similar clients is a plus.Travel Stipend:Client will consider providing a travel stipend depending on the distance of the candidate's residence from our office location."If you are a dedicated legal professional with expertise in contractual law, looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing company, we encourage you to apply for this position.
