Job Description: Responsibility will include the day-to-day oversight and internal management of the grant, including within the state's financial system as needed. This position will report to the Deputy Chief of Program Implementation, with shared responsibilities with the grants team under the Office of the Secretary-Administration. Duties will include serving as liaison with grant leadership, the program implementation team, department-level grant management and department-level fiscal teams to ensure proper setup, maintenance, and alignment of the grant throughout its lifecycle. This position will communicate and facilitate post award budget modifications, interagency transfers, and assist with mid and end of year reporting in accordance with federal reporting requirements and programmatic changes. This position will support grant leadership with budget forecasting, and expenditure analysis. This position will also support alignment of all project-level contracts and budgets in accordance with state and federal requirements, as well as other grant-related fiscal or management duties as assigned. This position will work predominantly in-office, with limited availability for remote work. Qualifications:Possession of a Bachelor's degree or higherMicrosoft Office including strong skills in Excel.Grant management, fiscal analysis background, budget management, andor auditing experience.Ability to multitask Experience in conducting studies which includes evaluating operations, programs, services, policies and procedures to determine efficiency, effectiveness, whether goals and objectives are met and compliance with laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.Experience in descriptive statistics such as the mean, median, mode or standard deviation.Experience in narrative report writing.Knowledge of methods and techniques used in the analysis of managerial and operational problems.Knowledge of the principles, practices and theory of administration and management.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and or outside contacts and to deal tactfully with problems associated with management audits.Experience overseeing andor implementing new programs and grant management
