We believe we can learn what works, share that information without limits, and empower countless people locally, nationally, and globally to live longer, healthier lives.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, prepares, packages, and distributes medications; performs clerical duties related to the operation of a pharmacy; and performs other related duties as required.Selects drugs from stock for preparation: counts, pours, or mixes pharmaceuticals; places pharmaceutical products in appropriate containers and affixes labels to containers; packages and ships medication packagesMonitors prescription inventory for expired pharmaceuticals that must be returned to manufacturerReceives prescriptions and obtains information; using a computerized system, enters prescription data to create a patient profileHelps to maintain the pharmacy in a clean and orderly conditionProvides excellent customer service to all patients and medical professionals via phone or in personAbility to preserve confidentiality of protected health information (PHI)May be assigned to maintenance of pharmacy filing systems (hard copy, signature logs, and invoices)Prepare and track delivery instructions and invoices to assist delivery staff and common carriers responsible for home or office deliveryPerform other duties as assignedHourly rate: $20 - $25RequirementsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customersExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to function well in a fast paced environmentExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareEducation and ExperienceHigh school or equivalent (Preferred)Pharmacy Technician Experience: 3 years (Preferred)Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)Pharmacy Technician License (Preferred)BenefitsAtria is proud to offer every full-time member of the Atria team:A no-limits approach to improving careExcellent health and wellness benefits (just $3.00 per month)
