We offer deep sector expertise across a full range of products and services in investment banking, equities, fixed income, asset and wealth management in the Americas, Europe and the Middle East and Asia.POSITION:Investment Banking Associate in Jefferies Boston Office.POSITION DESCRIPTION:Jefferies is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to lead transactions in a highly active capital markets environment - this team executes the full suite of investment banking services including M&A (predominately sell-side), debt financings utilizing Jefferies committed syndicated and direct lending capabilities, and equity capital markets transactions including IPOs, follow-on and growth raises. This is an exceptionally active group executing a high volume of private equity-linked deals. Lead sell-side M&A execution experience is a must. The Boston office houses approximately 50 people and this team consists of ~20 bankers focused on consumer, retail, business services, distribution, and technology transactions related to the automotive aftermarket.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Participate in the execution of equity and debt financings, M&A, and restructuring and recapitalization transactionsPerform financial valuation, discounted cash flow, pro forma merger, precedent transaction, and comparable companies' analysesPrepare pitch books and live deal materials, including offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, lender presentations, and prospectusesAnalyze detailed corporate and financial information, as well as conduct due diligenceAttending client meetings with MDsBuild financial three-statement operating modelsConduct industry and product researchDESIRED EXPERIENCE:Detail-oriented with exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneouslyResourceful self-starter; able to work autonomouslyDemonstrated team player and leaderOutgoing personality who can engage clients and team membersStrong written and verbal communication skillsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityCurrently living in Boston, or willing to relocate3+ years of investment banking experienceThe salary range for this role is $150,000 - $175,000At Jefferies, we believe that diversity fosters creativity, innovation and thought leadership through the infusion of new ideas and perspectives.
