Position Responsibilities:Leadership to HR team members - may supervise 1-3 office support staffTactically involved in the recruitment process to ensure a continuous applicant poolEnsure constant communication and use of referral programManage and participate in targeted recruiting initiatives by communicating regularly with the General Manager, Regional Human Resources Manager, and Client Service Managers regarding specific recruiting needsAttend recruitment functions such as job fairs, career days, and other events to source candidateOversee or manage selection, on-boarding and placement process specific to all new employeesOversee the on-boarding process to ensure compliance with company standards such as PEAK and background checksCommunicate open and in process positions to all branch staffDistribute required weekly and monthly reportingEnsure compliance to Whelan required training including Welcome to Whelan, Supervisor Training, CPR, and Driver required assessments, training, and checklistFacilitate employee engagement by co-writing eNPS action plans and encouraging officer recognition programs such as Officer of the Month and Making a Difference AwardsGuarantee compliance for all state licensing requirementsEnforce all state training requirementsSupport benefit communication during annual open enrollment and serve as ongoing liaison between officers and corporate officeEnsure compliance with regulatory or collective bargaining requirements (where applicable)Process FMLALOA requestsManage all workers' compensation claims for the branchEnsure OSHA compliance and reporting for the branchComplete all requests for unemployment claims for the branchResponsible for creating a safety culture within the branchFacilitate branch progressive disciple policies and ensure it is executed fairly and consistentlyRespond to all Ethics & Compliance hotline alertsInvestigate all allegations of policy violationsWhat We Offer:Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, & Disability Insurance, Plus 401K OptionsPaid Time Off (4 floating holidays per yr., 48 hours of sick time per yr., and 80 hours of vacation time per yr.)
