Job Description:

Summary of the Position: Nutramax is looking for a talented Associate Creative Designer to work as part of a fun, fast-paced, and collaborative creative team. In addition to creating inspiring and innovative visual communication assets for print and digital applications, this individual will also assist in the creation of 3D packaging renderings (training to be provided) to use on a variety of platforms.Roles and Responsibilities:Create graphic design for all divisional print and digital marketing needs including advertising, collateral, and packagingCreate renderings of various packaging applications to be used in a wide variety of platforms, including ecommerce, digital and print marketing (training to be provided)Prepare pre-press production files for all print projects, according to printer specs, while adhering to fundamental graphic design typographical principlesWork with outside vendors, including photographers, printers and display housesArchive marketing projects on appropriate storage drivesAbility to brainstorm with members of the Graphic Design Marketing teamStay abreast of digital technology and design trends in the graphic arts industryCommunicate effectively with other departments within the organization and function within a team environment.Perform other assigned duties as may be required in meeting company objectivesMinimum Requirements:0-3 years of graphic design experiencePortfolio of design workMust possess and utilize knowledge of fundamental graphic design typographical principles and commercial color printing methodsExperience in pre-press production and layout using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator on the Macintosh platformExperience in design for digital applications a plusExperience using Esko Studio to create packaging renderings a plusMust be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and ExcelMust be detail orientedExcellent written and communication skillsAbility to multi-task and work effectively in a team environment under tight deadlines while accommodating last minute marketing needsRegular attendance required.Education and Experience: BA in Graphic Design from a four-year collegeSupervisory Responsibilities: None
