These phases include: Scheduling, subcontractor buyout, cost reporting, preparation of subcontracts, the handling of owner coordination, construction quality oversight, and project closeout.Specific ResponsibilitiesParticipate with project team and preconstruction services in development of a Project Chart of AccountsCoordinate with Project Superintendent in development of a project site logistics planAssist Superintendent in the management of subcontractorsMaintain understanding of the ClaycoOwner contractOversee the submittal, change order, and pay request processAssist in generation of project costs and Job Cost ReportContribute to the analyzing and forecast of quarterly Total Cost Projection reportsMonitor and record training of all staff personnelMonitor project laborReport and track equipment needsAssist preconstruction services in bidding projectsImplement applicable safety, EEO and Affirmative Action programsParticipate in the project's quality processContribute to schedule and project close-out processesEducationExperienceAttributesRequirements0 to 7 Years of experienceBachelors degree in Construction Management or Engineering requiredGeneral knowledge of construction principlespractices requiredExcellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individualsExperienced dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors andor self-perform work is a plusCreative and results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgencySuccessful internships or Project Engineering experience on projects of at least 5 million dollars (design build preferred) is a plusHighly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on own as well as in a team environmentAbility to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffoldingAbility to lift objects at least 50lbsSome Things You Should KnowThis position is based in the Midwest.Our clients and projects are nationwide - Travel will be required.We work on creative, complex, award-winning, high-profile jobs.The pace is fast!
