Job Description:

Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with business leaders to foster strong relationships between human resources and operations, facilitating regular communication and joint problem-solving efforts.Provide expert guidance, coaching, and mentoring to employees, supervisors, and managers across the organization on a consistent basis.Take the lead in conducting workplace investigations and collaborate with management to resolve complex employee relations issues and complaints effectively.Offer coaching to management on various HR functions including performance management, succession planning, employee development, and disciplinary processes.Ensure thorough documentation of all relevant issues using case management software, supporting investigations and ensuring clear communication of outcomes to employees and managers.Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, spearheading initiatives associated with compliance and responding to surveys and reports from regulatory bodies.Collaborate with the legal team to address inquiries and claims from government agencies and manage legal matters pertaining to HR.Identify training needs and assist in the implementation of training initiatives, designing and delivering training programs as required.Support recruitment efforts including job boards, hiring requisitions, and recruitmentIdeal BackgroundCandidate:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources, or a similar degree or equivalent work experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in business partner, generalist, or HR leadership roles.Experience supporting employees and management on the West Coast, including familiarity with some or all of the following states: CA, AZ, WA, OR, HI, NV, UT, ID, NM, CO.Human Resources certification preferred.Proficient in multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, and performance management.Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and company policies.Demonstrated experience working effectively with employees at various organizational levels.Methodical approach to analyzing and problem-solving.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.Capable of working both strategically and tactically to address HR fortable navigating ambiguous situations and proactively offering solutions.Self-motivated and able to thrive in autonomous work environments.Possesses a strong sense of ethics and ownership in fulfilling HR responsibilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, Google Suite, and HRIS platforms.
