Job Description:

BACKGROUNDThis role will serve on the staff of the SouthCoast Wind LLC (SCW)team. SouthCoast Wind Energy LLC is the lease holder of BOEM OCS-0521 off the coast of Massachusetts, an area of 127k acres capable to deliver around 2GW. The project is split into two phases and this position will be among members of the project team accountable to develop, achieve final investment decision, and then deliver both phases of the project.GENERAL DESCRIPTIONResponsible for the development of the technical solutions for the offshore foundations and Transition Pieces of fixed bottom offshore wind projectsEXPERIENCESKILLSABILITIESYou'll have 10+ years of engineering experience and 5+ years of offshore wind experience having participated in the development and construction of at least 2 offshore wind projects. And a proven experience with leading a Civil Engineering department within the Offshore Wind IndustryExperience in foundation design, fabrication andor installation for at least 2 offshore wind project from pre-construction to CODExperience in a senior project delivery role in the offshore wind sector is essentialContractual negotiation experience.Experience of managing a multi-disciplinary engineeringproject management team is required.Strong understanding of certification requirementsKnowledge of health and safety legislation (including the CDM regulations) and best practice is essential.Knowledge of technical standards and industry practice across the different disciplines associated with the packagesSpecific knowledge of the structure design processes and in offshore installation is required.Knowledge of project management processes and systems associated with the delivery of complex, multi-package construction projects is desirable.A strong understanding of the interfaces and interdependencies between the project's work packages is required.
