Location: Cambridge MA (Onsite)Science: Small MoleculeTherapeutic Area: VariousJob Overview: We are looking for an experienced scientist at a seniorprincipal level to strengthen our clients experimental capabilities and collaborate closely with their team in order to progress their assay development goals.Primary Job Responsibilities:Utilize expertise in cell-based assay development, lipid metabolism, and neuroimmunologyCoordinate and oversee the research efforts of Research Associates and other scientistsEffectively communicate scientific findings through various channels, demonstrating strong written and verbal skills, and take responsibility for designing, executing, and generating reports for cell-based assay qualification plans and drafting SOP documents for cell and molecular assaysPrimary Job Requirements:PhD-level scientist, ideally with a publication background in lipid metabolism, neurobiology, neuroinflammation, andor cardiovascular-related immunologyStrong background in cellular and molecular biology methodologies expectedPrevious experience in cell-based assay development and qualification for small molecule screening required, with preference for experience using immortalized cell models of glia andor macrophagesExperience in drafting, editing, and QC process for formal data reporting is an ideal skill setAbout Stratacuity:Whether you are seeking a career change or simply interested in becoming part of our network, you will appreciate the ethics guiding each Stratacuity team member.
