Job Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW:In conjunction with the Director of Brain Health and Nurse Practitioner, the RN will partner to help monitor a patient's overall health and develop an individualized plan of care for their patients. Each RN functions as a case manager and works collaboratively with the clinical team.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Partner with Atria Brain Health clinicians to provide exceptional care of our membersPlace IV Catheters and administer infusions for Migraine program, Stem Cell Services, etcPhlebotomy, work with MAs for specimen processingAssist MDsACPs in procedures Assist in research protocols and consenting Liaise Imaging visits, complete screening form, place IV catheter if necessaryNeurological Data Collection -NIH toolbox, olfaction evaluation, Neurocatch (Brain Vitals), Speech analysis, King-Devick eye movement analysis, vision, hearingFollowing up with outside specialist referrals, obtaining consult notes and recommendationsFollowing up on requested medical records Develop and maintain good communications and working relationships with the Brain Health team & other clinical teams Participates in team meetings, offering insights for data efficiency Assists the clinical team with data procurement, processing, and storingLiaise with care coordination team members as it relates to Brain Health program visitsFlexibility to assist with related nursing duties as needed at the Institute Flexibility to perform administrative and clerical tasks as neededDocumentation and appropriate maintenance of Medical Records for membersIdentify appropriate candidates for Atria Clinical TrialsRequirementsCurrent NYS Registered Nursing License2+ years' experience as a practicing RN with regular experience in phlebotomy and IV placementBLS certification from the American Heart AssociationThrives in a fast-paced, growing environmentBenefitsAt Atria, we are proud to offer every member of the Atria team:Excellent health and wellness benefits, 100% paid by AtriaTime to give back and make an impact in underserved communitiesClinic Family Days that are scheduled throughout the year so your family may share the wealth of our clinician expertise and state-of-the-art technology services
