This is a great opportunity with a stable industry with competitive compensationquarterly bonuses! Responsibilities:Assume responsibility for all engineering disciplines in the Molding department. Engineering disciplines include Process Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering.Create and drive business excellence strategies in striving for the world-class manufacturing culture in following areas: Continuous Improvement Engineering, Process Engineering Excellence strategies, Manufacturing Engineering.Utilize the tools of Problem Solving, Lean, Six Sigma, and other Continuous Improvement Processes to create a culture of world-class Operational Excellence.Actively works with New Product Development group in launching new products and bringing new innovative manufacturing municates and coordinates all CI initiatives throughout the organization to interested parties of varying technical knowledge levels from directors to engineers to operators.Translates and documents performance improvements to financial values that align with corporate goals.Required Qualifications:Bachelors in a related engineering fields5+ years of Engineering Management experience in a manufacturing environmentUnderstands P&L at a departmental level.Analytical and presentation skillsAbility to motivate others through excellent leadership skillsProblem solving experience using standard tools and methods such as 8-steps, DMAIC or similar root-cause analysis methods
