Job Description:

We are currently assisting our client, a publicly traded industry leader, with a Materials Manager search located outside Little Rock, AR. The Materials Manager will be responsible for managing and implementing manufacturing materials strategy to ensure the achievement of plant goals. This position will be responsible for production planning, inventory control, and logistics in a fast-paced, 247 environment. Responsibilities: Manage aspects of supply chain management to include: production planning, master scheduling, inventory management, warehousing, and logisticsPartner closely with Purchasing and Production department to ensure efficient material movementEnsure inventory levels are at optimum levels Forecast material needs while maximizing the utilization of the current inventoryDetermine the best course of action to improve distribution efficiencyRequirements:Bachelor's Degree5+ years Materials Management experienceSAP experienceProven success in large, 247 manufacturing operationsAdditional Information:All information will be kept strictly confidentialApplications will not be considered without a ResumeCurriculum Vitae which includes contact information
