Do you want to be involved in a one-of-a-kind mixed-use development project built over the next decade, with Phase 1 construction starting in Q2 2024?RETS Associates, on behalf of our client, is recruiting for an Associate, Real Estate Finance & Analytics role that will be an integral team member on a major ground-up mixed-use development project. The Associate will work with the SVP and Senior Director to lead and manage complex financial analysis for a $4.0B+, multi-year project with over 3,500 apartments, 1.1 MSF of office, 230,000 SF of retail, 550 hotel rooms, and 20 acres of public space.Working across the entire organization including capital markets, development, construction, leasing, asset management, sports, and entertainment, the Associate will communicate with and advise the executive team on real time investment and capital allocation decisions using robust analytics and research. The ideal candidate will have strong excel DCF and forecasting experience and be able to thrive in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment. This role reports to the SVP of Finance and is located in Anaheim four days per week (flexible Friday).Requirements:College degree in business, finance, real estate, economics, accounting, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.4+ years of real estate financial and analytical experience, including strong DCF financial modeling experience. Ground-up development experience is a plus. Highly advanced MS Excel skills a must. VBAMacros is a plus.Clear and concise written and oral presentation fortable communicating, presenting, and directly collaborating with C-level executivesDesire to work in an exciting and fast-paced environment including working longer hours as petitive base compensation plus bonus.
