Assistant Interior Architect - Entry LevelD&T Designs seeks artistic assistant interior architect looking for a career with an established, fast-growing company that promotes from within. This is a great learning opportunity for the right candidate, who will work side by side with experienced Interior Design Project Managers.Must submit portfolio or work sample with application to be considered.BA Degree in interior architecture, architecture or interior design required.Experience in interior design or architecture required but internships accepted.Strong Auto CAD skills. Must be able to create furniture layouts, elevations, RCPs & design details.Experience with 3D modeling (SketchUp or equal) preferred.Must be an organized team player that can assist Project Managers from design through construction.Assistant will help source materials and create design boards for Project Managers.Must be able to travel to job walks for training.Strong verbal and written communication skills required.Must be able to multitask & maintain the organization of data for multiple terest in sustainable design a plus! Previous service in your community a plus!Qualifications and SkillsHighly organized self-starter with strong time management skillsStrong computer skills, MAC experience preferred.Experience in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp or other 3D rendering program, & Microsoft Office.Job Type: Full-time, M-F, 8-hour shift in officeSalary: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year to start with annual increases based on performanceBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceMust include a portfolio or work sample with application to be considered
