Job Description:

Our client, a Boston based private equity firm is seeking a Senior Finance Associate to join their finance team. RESPONSIBILITIES:· Handle all finance and accounting related matters to private equity funds· Report all daily accounting activity in system· Help with preparation of financial statements· Work with capital allocations· Build out reports for investor meetings· Work with investor relations to provide portfolio financial information· Monitor all cash activity including reconciliations· Work with different departments of firm including compliance for legal documentation· Prepare and report on all investor callsEXPERIENCE· Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance· 2-5 years experience in public accounting or alternative investment firm· Experience with private equity preferred· CPA preferred· Strong GAAP knowledge· Excellent Excel skills· Outstanding written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work with upper management and interface with all departmentsNote: Qualified candidates will be contacted within 2 business days of application.
