Job Description:

The Director of Distribution is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the warehouse, including the receipt, storage, retrieval and dispatch of goods. Ensures compliance with health and safety standards, security of the building and stock, and optimal arrangement of goods within the warehouse. The Warehouse Manager oversees the productivity and performance of the warehouse staff, and provides training and guidance as needed. You also will assist with customer service, order processing, inventory control, and returns management. ResponsibilitiesManage the daily processing of all purchase orders and stock purchase ordersEnsure timely and accurate warehousing and disbursement of products to the picking line and shipment to customersManage the receiving, inventory control and returns department, and monitor the Direct and True Bins for proper inventory and order completionAssist with expediting customer service orders and resolving any shipment or returns issuesInput data, provide training, supervise staff, oversee workflow and resolve problemsEnforce proper use and maintenance of any warehouse equipmentEnsure proper delivery and pickup of inventory using appropriate shipping sourcesEnsure adequate staffing and cleanliness of the warehouse at all timesMotivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to meet productivity targets Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain Related Field2 to 5 years of warehouse management experienceProficiency with various WMS platforms
