Legal Nurse Consultant - Northeast OhioLegal Nurse Consultant Nurse Paralegal to join our premier Medical Defense Team in Northeast Ohio. We offer a flexible hybrid remote opportunity and a signing bonus!Primary Responsibilities:Provides consultation, research, and investigation of medical recordsProvides medical record chronology, summary, andor analysisResearch medical literature for casesAnalyzes pre-deposition and post-deposition transcript data on expert witnessesProvides pre-trial and trial support for attorneysInvestigates potential medical billing irregularitiesResearches and recommends medical expertsProvides data and assistance to medical expertsOther duties as assignedSkills, Qualifications & Educational Requirements:B.S.N. with minimum of 5 years clinical experience with a valid state registered nursing licenseObstetrics experience is a plusLegal Nurse Consultant Certificate (LNCC) preferredProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other office technology, including document management toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to perform billable work and record time in accordance with clientfirm policyAbility to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently while using sound judgment in decision-makingQualified candidates should submit a cover letter, resume, references, and compensation requirement to Marianne Cecchi at compensation and excellent benefits.
