Stationed at our Broken Arrow, OK office, you'll delve into various steel industrial equipment projects within the oil and gas industry, notably focusing on steel stacks, flares, and air-cooled heat exchangers. This role not only promises vast professional growth and flexibility across the business but also empowers you to influence and expand the engineering services we offer based on your vision and expertise.ResponsibilitiesIndependently conduct structural analyses for various components, including steel stacks, flares, air-cooled heat exchangers, vessels, and piping, primarily within the oil and gas sector. Ensure reports are client-ready.Review project specifications and drawings to identify design codes and essential requirements.Evaluate structural design reports and drawings, pinpointing and rectifying errors or inconsistencies before stamping.Engage proactively with clients, capturing their design needs and making necessary project novate and assess damping solutions to mitigate wind-induced vibrations in steel stacks.Offer competitive quotations to clients for diverse engineering services.Efficiently manage tasks to guarantee timely project completion.Stay updated on industry design trends and validate existing localized design methodologies.Collaborate across departments, contributing to areas like software development, fabrication, and testing.Minimum QualificationsABET accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering.Legally authorized to work in the USA (H1-B candidates will not be considered).Decisive problem-solving capabilities during projects.Aptitude to understand instructions and seek clarifications when necessary.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Proven ability to lead a project from inception to completion.Effective time management skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office applicationsIdeal QualificationsWhile the aforementioned qualifications are our baseline requirements, we would be particularly interested in candidates with the following credentials and experience:Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering2 years or more in structural design.Proficiency in performing Finite Element Analysis.Experience with software tools like STAAD.Pro, PRG Paulin, Autodesk, Inventor, and Nastran.Solid understanding of steel structure design.Familiarity with designing concrete structures andor fort navigating through a broad spectrum of design codes, standards, and guides, inclusive of international standards.Join our team and leverage both your foundational skills and specialized expertise in a role that's set to challenge and elevate your professional journey.
