Job Description:

Reporting to the Program Manager and Lead Youth Training Specialist, the Wellness Coordinator works in South King and Pierce County helping youth and young adults stay engaged in our "Pathway to Success Series" programming. Time will be split amongst current in-school and community-based projects. In this full-time position you will focus on reviewing student applications, tracking student early warning indicators and community data, organizing resources, connecting with other community-based organizations, and holding youth resiliency connection sessions to ensure they have the best social and emotional support to achieve success within our programming. Your initial training will consist of tracking data through apricot, foundational training on adverse childhood experiences, analyzing Build 2 Lead early warning indicators, tracking Build 2 Lead case management processes, possibly complete case management certification (if applicable)  and truly understanding the vision and communities which Build 2 Lead serves. More of what you'll do in this role:ResponsibilitiesDirect programmingSupport Build 2 Lead Pathway to Success Series programming in-school, after school and during our GameChangers summer learning academy. Topics include social and emotional leadership development, mission and vision building, college and career readiness, financial literacy, and peer mentorship training.Assist with recruitment of students for our community-basedafterschool civic engagement opportunities, workforce development, entrepreneurship learning module, and mentorship opportunities.Capture and track student key performance indicators for data detailing student progress.Coordinate and attend community information sessions, youth resource connection meetings, and Build 2 Lead informational sessions.Case managementManage a caseload of maximum 60 (In-schoolCommunity Based) during the school year and 15-20  during the summer.Facilitate student's needs assessments.Provide students with connections to resources through B2L partner organizations.Hold student checks and connect sessions monthly to track progress.Build "B2L Wellness" action plans derived from initial case management assessments and meetings.Stakeholder engagementAttend school-based meetings with key leaders and program partners in the building, build effective connections with community partner meetings in person and virtually and regularly attend B2L team huddles.Meet monthly with Key partners to discuss shared students and progress of partnership.Support the coordination of B2L Legacy events.Recruit participants and presenters for B2L Legacy events.Attend pertinent staff meetings.Attend B2L Board Annual Retreat Meeting. QualificationsIndividuals with bachelor's degrees in Human Services, Education, Social Work -OR- 2-years' experience working with youth are encouraged to apply.
