Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced art handler to join our expanding transportation and installation department. From picking up incoming artwork and antiques, to packing, delivery and installation, the role will be an active part of the art community, and a valued member of our team. Our art handling team handles, packs, transports, and installs artwork for a numerous clientele, both locally and nationwide. Through our multiple studios, creative staff and varied clientele (collectors, designers, museums, corporate offices, etc), no day is the same, and there are always interesting projects to handle and install.The candidate must have the ability to:install artwork using a variety of hardware on variable surfacessafely handle fine art, antiques and furniturepack artwork for transporthave a clean driving record and drive a box trucktroubleshoot onsite and work directly with clientsavailability for occasional travelbe flexible in a fast-paced environment shifting timelineswork with the sales team to maintain the installation schedule and navigate projectswork independently and as part of a teamIdeal candidates will demonstrate the following qualities:-understanding of handling fine art and antiques-picture framing experienceknowledge is a plus-proactive, with high attention to detail-ability to multitask-great interpersonal skills and enjoys working with others-motivated, ability to flourish with minimal guidance-has a friendly demeanor and is presentable-a clean driving record is a mustThis is a full-time position with benefits, the hours are flexible.
