Job Description:

Position Summary:This position is primarily responsible for a certified welder for welding and assemblyfabrication of Headworks products for the water industry.Essential Job FunctionsPerforms MIG or TIG welding duties Welds steel and stainless steel fabricated parts consistent with Headworks standards and specifications. Records all time on the appropriate job orders at a high degree of accuracyPerforms all job duties at a high level of efficiency and with minimal reworkWorks safely and accident-free along with aiding co-workers to engage in safe work habits.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalentProficient at MIG and or TIG welding processesMust have 3+ years TIGMIG welding (including using a turntable) of Pipe and structural componentsHas passed at least one of HWI's approved AWS D1.6 welding qualification tests and understands fabrication drawingsAble to read drawings, weld notations, and fabricate parts to specificationTeam player interested in a long-term position in an industry not subject to recessions.BenefitsHeadworks® is an equal opportunity employer, offering a great work environment, challenging career opportunities, professional training and competitive compensation.
