What you'll be doing Train and supervise Interns and Rehab Techs in carrying out individual treatment plans.  Conduct diagnostic and treatment services in speech-language pathology, utilizing standardized and informal assessments to evaluate communication disorders' nature, severity, and rehabilitation prognosis. This involves individual and group therapy sessions tailored to clients' needs, encompassing communication, cognitive, dysphagia, and related services. Serve as a specialist and resource on communication and dysphagia for clinical teams. Completes timely documentation of daily treatment notes, progress reports at funding required intervals, initial evaluation, discharge summaries, pre driving assessment, home assessments, home programs, and consultation notes as indicated. Monitor individuals' progress and maintain accurate records of treatment through data collection and treatment reports as assigned. Serves as a member of a transdisciplinary team for assigned individuals.  Participates in individual goal development, coordination of services, discharge planning, and family education as needed. Develop and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with all individuals. Provides education and monitoring to direct care staff, families, and other team members, in the provision of speech and language activities; trains and supervises staff in the provision of speech assistant services if employed at location. Anticipated Work Schedule On Call Monday-Friday 8am-5pm No weekends or holidays Job Requirements Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program. Holds ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech/language pathology (CCC-Speech) or will consider those in their Clinical Fellowship. Current Michigan Licensure.
