THE FOCUS IS YOU: We are looking to add an Audit Senior Manager to help guide and oversee our clients, in addition to supporting our internal leaders and the on-going growth in our Melville, NY office.As an Audit Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and reviewing the necessary procedures involved in planning and executing attestation engagements for clients in accordance with the applicable accounting standards. The Audit Senior Manager serves to manage client engagements, maintain client relationships, and act as a liaison between overseeing/mentoring internal staff and working closely with internal leaders, to ensure high-quality work is conducted and delivered to our clients.WHAT YOU WILL DORegular duties include (but are not limited to):Perform and assist with audits, reviews and compilations for clients in various industriesOversee and review financial statements and evaluate internal controlsAssist with the coordination of the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork and wrap-upDeep understanding of accounting and reporting standardsDevelop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet time constraints and client deadlinesInteract with clients to help ensure the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficientCommunicate with Client, Management, and Managing Director on work status and client issues that ariseWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORExperience8+ years in accountingPublic accounting preferredEducationMinimum Bachelor's degree:Bachelor's in Accounting for Audit or TaxRelated Business Degree for ConsultingLicense / CertificationMust be a CPA for Audit; May need equivalent certification for other disciplinesMust maintain required CPE credits annuallyMay possibly have other industry or specialization certificationLegal / ComplianceMust complete acknowledgement of Independence Guidelines and Ethical Standards documentGovernment engagements require ability to obtain a security clearance from the United States governmentWHO WE AREREADY TO DELIVERWe take pride in our ability to combine local knowledge with national, regional, and international skills to provide you and your organization with the best resources possible. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $140,000 to $215,000.
