Description Of: A lead electrician is a skilled professional who specializes in maintaining, inspecting, and repairing electrical systems. Capable of supervising and coordinating with other electricians/helpers. Responsible for planning and executing work schedules. They are also responsible for evaluating systems accurately for proper installation and maintenance when installing electrical control panels and performing electrical troubleshooting and new installations. Comfortable and capable handling hand tools, heavy power tools and electrical testing equipment. May be involved in coordinating daily operations of project work being completed and handling of material ordering.
