Job Description:

The Survey Manager position is a direct-hire position working for HGA's Integrated Services Business Unit. This position can be 100% remote with periodic visits to the client locations.Responsible for the administrative and technical management as necessary over survey staff to ensure adherence to established surveying principles, consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Assumes responsibility for budgeted man hours and staffing. Applies broad plans of operation and periodically review project schedules. Survey Manager will recommend and implement work group standards, policies, and procedures. Assigns and supervises work within the Survey Department. Responsible for estimating, scheduling, and coordinating work within Survey Department Conducts meetings with clients, instructs subordinates, and reviews work for proper applications of standards. Has full supervisory authority with input from Field Services Manager, field supervisors, and project managers.Qualifications: Associates or bachelor's degree preferred. 10+ years survey experience preferred. 5+ years of supervisory experience is preferred. Experience with practical survey and pipeline construction methods, including survey control, boundary recovery, topographic and hazard survey, construction staking, field design and as-built methodologies. Competent and proficient understanding of land surveying, pipeline mapping, pipeline construction and as-built integrity compliance practices. Solid working knowledge of current survey equipment and software technologies. Current Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) license in the state of Florida is required.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
