CDL DriverJob DescriptionTri-Pac, Inc. a contract development and manufacturing company (CDMO) specializing in liquid and aerosol filling for pharmaceutical marketers, is seeking an experienced CDL Driver Class A for immediate addition to our fast growing team.Essential Job FunctionsWe are seeking for qualified, dependable CDL Drivers to join our team. Our drivers must be organized, detailed oriented, responsible, and reliable workers. They must always drive safely and obey all traffic laws and procedures and operate in a safe manner.This position is responsible for transporting finished goods and raw materials from one Tri-Pac location (of four total sites) to another. This will be accomplished using either a box truck or a tractor/trailer combination. Additionally, these drivers may deliver or pick-up materials from a customer or vendor.Most of the deliveries will be local to the South Bend area and will be day trips (back and forth on the same day) but non-local, overnight trips could exist, albeit infrequently.Experience in this position should be inclusive of a good, proven driving record with familiarity in driving a tractor/trailer combo and physically able and willing to work in a fast-pace environment with a potential of overtime during our growth period.This position is a member of the warehouse department and reports to the Warehouse Manager. If offered periods with no driving required, this person may be asked to perform other warehouse functions including driving a forklift to load and unload future deliveries.Verifiable, current (non-expired or suspended) Class A CDL license is a must and a tanker certificate is a plus.Job RequirementsCurrent Class A CDL.High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.Clean driving record with no moving violations.Must pass a background check and drug test.Alert, focused, and detail oriented.Physically and mentally fit.Ability to lift to 50 lbs. at a time.Positive attitude.Superior attendance.Detail oriented.Ability to self-manage.Excellent communication skillsBenefitsCompetitive Salary/ Pay & Packages, Vacations, Insurance, 401K, Life Insurance, Disability (Long term/ Short term) and Continuous Training.
