Job Description:

We are seeking a highly proficient and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and VLOOKUP, as well as a good understanding of MS Office suite. Familiarity with accounting software such Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Month-end closing consisting of recurring JE's, fixed assets and depreciation, allocation entries, fuel, cash transfers, etc.Cash Receipts/ code bank depositsIntercompany accounts receivable/advances; reconcileYear-end tax prepVarious balance sheet analysis and reconciliations including tree/vine deposits, prepaid water analysis, payroll taxes, garnishments, insurance, etc.Budget variance explanationsMaintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoice processing.Conduct reconciliation operations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.Manage accounting journal entries, recording all business transactions promptly and accurately.Review and update financial data in databases, ensuring relevance and accessibility as per organizational requirements.Participate in the review and optimization of accounting procedures, including expense management and payroll records.Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documentation in accordance with company guidelines.Generate and submit weekly and monthly reports on accounting activities.Contribute to the preparation of monthly and yearly closings.Support management with various accounting operations as required.Additional Information:APPLEONE is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
