Job descriptionMoody & O'Neal CPAs is looking to add a Tax Manager to our team. This position is to allow for growth of the firm. Our firm works hard to manage deadlines and workflow not to create excessive and stressful hours at deadlines for our staff. We are happy to share the hours worked by our staff, senior associates, and managers last year and this year in an interview. We believe in managing our workflow and hours rather than having it manage us. We are looking for a talented Tax Manager to join our team and help serve our clients. We are not hiring a manager because we are understaffed or had bad deadlines. We simply will not take on new clients unless we have the staff necessary to do the work without working excessive hours. Our staff on average worked 44 less hours this busy season than they did last busy season and only worked three Saturdays.Moody & O'Neal CPAs is a leader in the tri-county area with strong experience and expertise in tax services, consulting, business valuations, client accounting services, and boutique tax planning services. The firm has a great culture and Top 20 public firm experience in all leadership roles. The firm is looking for someone with 5+ years of current or very recent public accounting experience to join the team to review tax returns, sign returns, train staff, and manage clients. The firm is a member of the BDO CPA Alliance offering National Firm Training and Resources with the feel of working a local firm. The Firm also utilizes the latest in CPA firm technology and processes.Moody & O'Neal strikes a balance of working on the same clients found at a super-regional firm but with lower charge hour requirements, better work life balance, and the ability to touch a broader set of clients and technical matters.
