Join us and help "Lead the Charge for a New Generation!"Job Description:The Renewable Energy Site Origination Specialist is focused on negotiating land leases, purchase contracts, and closing deals for renewable energy projects. This role is not responsible for obtaining municipal approvals or managing project development tasks. If you have strong negotiation skills and are an excellent closer, this role offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the renewable energy sector. This role will work closely with the Vice President of Origination to identify and execute strategies to create new land leasing opportunities and win existing opportunities for the development of solar farms and energy storage facilies. The Renewable Energy Site Origination Specialist is instrumental in building and maintaining relationships with prospects, existing customers, and potential strategic partners.Essential functions:Own, meet and exceed all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual activity and business development targets within assigned territoriesEngage with landowners and other potential strategic partners in person, via video conference, via telephone, and written communicationsPartner with customers to understand their needs and objectivesEffectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentationsBuild and maintain strong, lasting customer relationshipsMaintain world-class customer service and communication standardsWork with the Sales and Operations Teams to identify and improve key growth strategies, tactics, and action plansDevelop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales and development targets, and expand the customer baseManage and nurture leads in our CRM system, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate record keepingWork collaboratively with cross-functional teams, such as Legal, Operations, and Marketing, to ensure the timely execution of land leasing agreementsAttend industry events and conferences as required.Competencies:Highly motivated, organized and self-reliantDemonstrated experience in developing and executing successful deal strategies.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Outstanding internal and external communication skillsBuilding strong customer relationshipsUnderstanding customer and industry trendsWork environment:5-Day Work Week with Flexible OptionsAt U.S. Light Energy, we understand the importance of a balanced work life, and we strive to provide a supportive and dynamic work environment for our team.
