Pride Health is hiring a Cytotechnologist to support our client's medical facility based in Detroit, Michigan. This is a full-time contract opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Responsibilities: · Microscopically examines prepared, stained smears to detect structural abnormalities. · Correlate surgical reports from HFH anatomic pathology with cytologic findings.· Rotate on technical processing, cubicle position, and NGYN screening according to the schedule set by the leader/supervisor.· For gynecological specimens, determine which cases should be further evaluated by the cytopathologist.Qualifications: · A bachelor's degree with successful completion in CAAHEP accredited program in cytotechnology or fulfilling CLIA requirements for cytotechnologists.· Minimum 1-year experience as a Cytotechnologist.Additional Information: · Location: Detroit, Michigan.· Job Type: Contract. 03/25/2024 to 06/22/2024· Schedule: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm or 9:00 am to 5:30 pm· Pay Range: $40.00 to 45.00/hour. *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
