Bodily Injury Litigation ExaminerProperty & Casualty Insurance IndustryNYCNYC Insurer located NYC (not remote) seeks a knowledgeable Claims Examiner that has expertise handling high exposure litigated commercial bodily injury auto claims, often involving policies containing an MC90 coverage endorsement for Public Liability under the Motor Carrier Act. Work in a highly professional atmosphere with skilled colleagues. Our offices are centrally located and newly renovated. Your caseload will be challenging and require you to use your intelligence and initiative. You will be working closely with defense counsel, strategizing and negotiating so as to bring cases to an effective resolution, up to and including a verdict, when appropriate. Knowledge of NY case law and litigation practice as well as medical concepts and terminology are a must, along with the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
