Let's Get to Work.Position OverviewAtrium, One of America's fastest growing women-owned companies is currently hiring for an experienced and innovative Request for Proposal (RFP) Writer. This is a unique opportunity to dive in head-first and collaborate directly with the firm's founder and top executives. From understanding client needs, to document creation and submittal - the RFP Writer will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution of multiple proposals. They will ensure the necessary documentation is accurate and customer deadlines are met. In addition, this leader will play a critical role in ensuring proposals are customized to incorporate Atrium's overall business development strategy.Responsibilities Of The RFP Writer Lead the development, completion, and delivery of all proposals (RFP/RFQ/RFIs) Vet proposal opportunities to ensure they fit our corporate business model and that we can offer a valid solution to solve the customer's business challenges Facilitate all aspects of project management for proposals, including initial review and qualification call, template creation, task assignment, status calls, scheduling, review sessions, final formatting and delivery Craft responses utilizing existing library within the approved technology (RFPio), customizing narrative and creating new content for each proposal Synthesize information collected from a variety of sources and tailor written documents to respond to specific evaluation criteria and requirements Coordinate contributors across the organization for collaboration on responses, solution pricing and any other required content for the proposal Work closely with business development team to stay up to date on our solutions, products, and messaging to ensure the company's competitive advantage is clearly communicated and understood in client-facing materials Work closely with Marketing to develop the overall appearance of documents to ensure brand consistency Develop and maintain the RFP Database and ongoing improvement of the proposal development processQualifications For The RFP Writer 5+ years of proposal management experience; within Staffing/Contingent Workforce Solutions preferred Superior writing, editing and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail Proven technical writing skills with a track record of creating effective, clear, and concise documents Strong project management and interpersonal skills, with the demonstrated ability to manage several proposals simultaneously in a high-volume, quick-turn, fast-paced environment Comfortability working with all levels/departments Microsoft Office proficiency, must be comfortable using Excel, PowerPoint and Word Experience with online proposal software such as Ariba, Scout, etc. highly preferred Strong strategic-thinking skills, and the ability to handle and manage stressful situations Willingness to roll-up sleeves and get things done attitude Relevant writing samples must be submitted along with resumePhysical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods of timeEducation Requirements Bachelor's degree is requiredBenefits Atrium Care package available, upon eligibility (PTO, Health Benefits, Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Accounts, Pet Insurance, Paid Holidays, 401k, Commuter Benefit Program) As a woman-owned firm, we value diversity.
