Job Description:

The Sr. Income Tax Consultant is a key position responsible for overseeing all aspects of corporate income tax compliance and reporting for the company's U.S. and international entities. This role involves managing the preparation, review, and filing of federal, state, and local income tax, as well as franchise tax returns. Additionally, the Manager will be tasked with preparing and reviewing annual income tax provisions for both domestic and international operations.Responsibilities the process and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual income tax returns, covering federal, international, state, and local income and franchise taxes for both U.S. and international entities.the process and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual indirect tax returns.tax liability accounts in the general ledger and approve entries to ensure accuracy.the income tax provision process, including the preparation of U.S. Federal, state, and international tax packages.for the performance management of one senior tax employee direct report.and review tax technical and detailed calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance.cross-border transfer costs with foreign subsidiaries to optimize tax efficiency.and implement processes to minimize tax risk, enhance controls, and increase the accuracy of all tax provision and compliance filings.and assist in annual planning and budget development, including relationship management with internal and external resources.manage tax fixed assets, including assigned lives and related controls, to ensure the accuracy of tax depreciation and deferred asset calculations.and analyze relevant legislation for U.S. and international operations, ensuring compliance with changes in tax laws and regulations.special projects as assigned, performing tax research, and assisting with tax planning related to special projects, business transactions, and reorganizations.Requirementsdegree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred.of 6 years of experience in corporate income tax compliance and reporting, preferably in a multinational environment.understanding of U.S. and international tax laws and regulations.with tax provision software Onesource Tax Provision preferred.analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax issues and provide practical solutions.in the retail and/or hospitality industry preferred.understanding of U.S. and international tax laws and regulations.analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax issues and provide practical solutions.
