You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial records, compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making processes.Responsibilities:Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.Monitor budget performance and variance analysis, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.Work closely with department heads to align financial goals with operational objectives.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including tax filings, government reporting, and statutory audits.Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory guidelines affecting the manufacturing industry.Partner with external tax advisors to optimize tax strategies and minimize tax liabilities.Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the accounting department.Promote professional development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of team members.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA designation preferred.Minimum of [insert number] years of progressive accounting experience, with at least [insert number] years in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting principles, and financial reporting requirements.Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
