If you excel in a fast-paced environment, enjoy managing multiple responsibilities, and are passionate about helping businesses succeed by managing their financial operations efficiently, then this role could be the perfect fit for you.A multi-entity bookkeeper for a consulting firm has the responsibility of overseeing and managing the financial records of multiple entities or clients that the firm works with.Job Responsibilities:Managing and maintaining accurate financial records for multiple clients simultaneously.Handling all aspects of bookkeeping including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and payroll.Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for each client.Assisting in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets for each client.Liaising with clients to obtain necessary financial information and answer queries.Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations across different clients.Working closely with the consulting team to provide financial insights and recommendations.Assisting auditors with client financial data as needed.Implementing and maintaining financial management systems and software for efficient bookkeeping practices.Keeping information confidential in compliance with security measures and client confidentiality agreements.Qualifications:Candidates for this role typically have a degree in accounting or finance and several years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a consulting firm. They should possess excellent knowledge of bookkeeping software and MS Excel. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple clients are crucial. Excellent communication skills are essential for liaising with clients and team members. The candidate must have a good understanding of tax laws and regulations. They must adhere to high ethical standards and maintain the confidentiality of client details. A Certified Bookkeeper Designation (CB) or other relevant certification can be advantageous.
