Job descriptionThe Millwright Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and direction for the millwright crew. Supervisor has direct responsibility for providing maintenance support to a group of locations/facilities. The position is responsible for the up-keep of the facility which includes equipment repair and overall maintenance. Heavy travel is required. Person must work and communicate effectively with the Location leadership to schedule required repairs/replacements/upgrades at the facility in a safe efficient and timely manner.Essential Job Functions:Lead talent development for the millwright crewLead workers onsiteProvide leadership and ensure compliance with all required safety, regulatory, environmental and company programsRepair/assist in repair of equipment and machinery at facility locationsReplace defective parts of machine or adjust clearances and alignment of moving partsPerform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipmentOperate maintenance hand and power toolsPosition steel beams to support bedplates of machines and equipment using blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work proceduresInstall new equipment, fabricate and weld as necessaryMove machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucksWork within company safety guidelinesComply with the organization's EHS Policy and all other EHS practices, programs and proceduresComplete required EHS System and EHS Management system training successfullyParticipate in the EHS Management System by reporting incidents or near missesLead health and safety meetings, perform all required safety training and documentation, reporting problems and recommend improvementsInform supervisor and location management of any safety hazards, environmental issues or system deficiencies in the workplaceDemonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings and completing assignmentsOther Job Functions:Other duties as assigned Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:Ability to work and interact well with others5 years' experience as millwright or maintenance department experience preferredStrong skills in fabrication and weldingExperience with hydraulics and electronics a plusAccreditations in the field or a trade school a plusSpecial Demands:Heavy travel is requiredAble to lift at least fifty (50) poundsAble to climb ladders and not afraid of heightsClean driving record with ability to obtain CDL if neededMust comply with company policies and safety regulationsFrequent hands-on and labor intensive job duties are requiredJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountPaid time offParental leaveRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWork setting:In-personAbility to Relocate:Amarillo, TX 79107: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)Willingness to travel:75% (Preferred)Work Location: In person
