Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIESInstall and maintain electrical systems of up to 480V.Plan installation from sketches and diagrams.Follow general instructions from leadership and occasionally draft original sketches.Install and test a variety of complex equipment.Test electric and electronic devices for performance.Repair motors and other electrical equipment.Maintain electrical equipment.Trace electrical circuits and make necessary repairs.Install electrical conduits.Direct work of other electricians and staff.Occasionally make pull boxes and control panels.Troubleshoot automated machines.QUALIFICATIONSA high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.A state indentured electrician apprenticeship is required.A master electrician's license or journeyman's maintenance electrician card is required.Knowledge of blueprints and ability to work from schematic drawings.Understanding of test equipment and when specific tools are appropriate.Knowledge of AC&DC current.Knowledge of electronic controls.
